DAY 1:

VERY IMPORTANT:  To go fishing at Tambopata I love to design a trip to Tambopata according to your expectations. I really like to focus in your expecations according to the number of days that you can travel to this part of the amazon focusing in a great fishing experience at Baltimore near the Tambopata National Reserve along the Tambopata River Near the macaw claylicks.  “Gerson Medina Valera, Tour guide” and expert guide fishing at Tambopata.

To get to our destination, We will start at 8:30 am from our Hotel or we can pass to pick you up from your hotel, we will have 2 hour by cay in a 4X4, the first part will be by the high way and the second part will be in a dirt route until we get to the Tambopata River near the limit to the Tambopata National Reserve. Our boat will be waiting for us to take us 25 minutes up the Tambopata river to get to our Lodge, we will have good chances to spot capybaras and many shore birds along the river bank, getting to the lodge we will get a welcome drink and the manager will explain us all we need to know about our lodge and its around.

Right after lunch we will go to our first spot, it will be along the Tambopata River at Baltimore community, you will have the chance to learn the local techniques, we will be expecting to get some good PAYARAS, may be cat fish, perhaps a Pacu. Depending on the number of days that you stay with us we will develop your itinearary. The best month to come for fishing at Tambopata is between june and november.  In the rainy season between december and may we can take you to some of the streams also along the Tambopata River.

Please contact us to ask and design a trip for you 🙂
