The lodge offers a place to enjoy the wonders of the rainforest in relaxing surroundings well off the beaten tourist trail.  The "comedor" area has hammocks and a comfortable seating area where guests can read up on the birds, plants and animals they have seen during their hikes from the wide selection selection of wildlife guides and tropical ecology reference books available in the library.  We also have an extensive selection of novels that can be borrowed or swapped.

For the more adventurous we have a small canoe that can be used for paddling across the the macaw clay lick to observe the birds or for going down river on a fishing trip.  We have jungle style fishing rods available for stream and river fishing (highly effective if you have the right technique!).  If your more interested in catching ornamental species we also have smaller nets for small stream fishing and a small aquarium for showing off your catches!

On a hot afternoon theres nothing better than a swim in the river to cool down.  There are a couple of lovely spots for swimming, the waterfall is our favourite - a power shower with a difference!  When the river is high we can use a really fun rope swing and for the very adventurous  (aka fool hardy) JJ is a keen log surfer and will take others along too!
